How to Defeat Armored Enemies?
The best way to defeat armored enemies is to make them vulnerable to your attacks. Even though they may be surrounded by tough steel, there are still ways for your strikes to get through. Once you strip them of their armor, use every available lethal power against them.
The first time you’ll come face-to-face with an armored enemy will be in chapter six, “Leaving All Behind.” This is during the “Hunting” lesson section. Even though you can use your weapons and environmental traps to try and slow them down or stun them, they won’t be defeated until you destroy their armor. Even being set on fire won’t work.
There are a few ways to defeat enemies who are wearing armor. These are:
- You can use weapons, fire, or armor piercer to disable the armor and get to the soldier.
- When fighting fully armored mace soldiers, get behind them and remove the lock that holds the armor in one place. This will make them vulnerable to all sorts of attacks, with fire being the most effective.
- You can also use tar to make them move slower or set them on fire to distract and blind them. This gives you time to circle around them and break their armor.
- Using Amicia’s tools and traps, you can dispatch armored enemies quickly.
