Modern Warfare 2 is already been released on October 28th for consoles, PCs, and Steam. This highly anticipated game has already been well received among Call of Duty fans worldwide, who have high expectations for it. However, a few skeptics remain cautious due to uncertainty about its overseas performance since they have not seen anything from Infinity Ward or Activision. However, these concerns are put to rest once we see how the developers plan on making Modern Warfare 2 work internationally.
The Signals 50 is a high-powered sniper rifle in the “Modern Warfare 2”. It comes equipped with a variable zoom scope, making it a deadly weapon on the battlefield. Although limited customization options exist, you can still create a Signal 50 class that takes advantage of the available benefits.

How to Unlock The Signal 50 Sniper?
You can access the Signal 50 feature in the Modern Warfare 2 by simply reaching level 44 in your military rank. You gain XP by playing matches, completing objectives, and killing other players. Once you reach level 44, you’ll be able to equip and use the Signal 50 in your custom load-outs.
With Signal 50, players can equate it to their preferred loadout or create a new custom loadout. Players can maximize their impact on the battlefield and unlock top-tier attachments by leveling up the weapon using the sniper-centric perks and field upgrades.
Signal 50 Sniper Perks and Equipments
The Signal 50 is great for long-range encounters on large maps like Invasion. To make the most of it in any mode, however, you’ll want to stick to cover and stay low to the ground. That way, you can pick off enemies without being spotted yourself.
With that in mind, we’ve put together a loadout of perks and equipment that will help you stay hidden while you take out your targets. Below is the list:
Base Perk 1 | Overkill |
Base Perk 2 | Tracker |
Bonus Perk | Focus / Resupply / Fast Hands |
Ultimate Perk | Ghost / High Alert |
Secondary | Lachmann Sub / M16 |
Lethal | Claymore |
Tactical | Smoke Grenade / Decoy Grenade |
Field Upgrade | Portable Radar / Tactical Insertion |
Overkill: Overkill gives you the ability to equip a second primary weapon, giving you a backup option in case you need to move locations or fight off enemies.
Tracker: If you’re the type of player who likes to avoid being seen and striking from the shadows, Tracker is a great choice for you. It leaves behind a trail of footprints for enemies to follow, while your kill markers are hidden from the enemy’s view.
Focus/Resupply/Fast Hands: For your bonus perk, we recommend either Focus, which reduces aim down sights (ADS) flinch, or Resupply, which lets you spawn with an additional Lethal grenade. If you want flexibility, Fast Hands is the better choice as it makes it, so your equipment recharges after 25 seconds, providing an endless supply of lethal and tactical grenades. The “Fast Hands” perk reduces weapon swap times, which is especially noticeable when using the Signal 50 due to its hefty weight. This is a bonus when using the “Overkill” perk.
Ghost/High Alert: If you’re looking for an “Ultimate Perk” that allows you to stay hidden from enemy UAVs, Portable Radars and Heartbeat Sensors, Ghost is a great choice. Alternatively, if you prioritize staying aware of your surroundings, High Alert is the perk for you, as it’ll alert you on screen when you’re spotted by an enemy.
Lachmann Sub / M16: The Lachmann Sub is a great choice for close-range combat in 6v6 game modes, but if you’re playing ‘Invasion’ on larger maps, you’ll want to carry a weapon that’s more suitable for long-range engagement. The M16 with the Hybrid Firepoint optic is a perfect backup to the Signal 50.
Claymore: The Claymore is a great choice for its proximity-based detonation, but it doesn’t unlock until level 27, so we recommend using the Proximity Mine until then.
Smoke Grenade/Decoy Grenade: Smoke grenades are great for Invasion, as they create a cover of smoke to help conceal your approach. Decoy grenades can also be useful, albeit in a more niche way – they create false radar blips that can distract enemies and potentially allow you to eliminate them.
Portable Radar/Tactical Insertion: The Portable Radar is an excellent choice for a field upgrade, as it will allow you to see any approaching enemies. The Tactical Insertion can also be useful, particularly in larger modes – it allows you to choose where you respawn, which can be handy if you find a good spot for sniping.
