How to Defeat Anna in Valor Mortis

Among the most frequent attacks that she will perform against you are those in which she will charge at you, jump up in the air, and deliver an unblockable slash with her weapon. Since this attack cannot be blocked by you, you should do your best to avoid it as soon as she starts to jump up in the air.
Another set of attacks is the one where she performs a number of diagonal slashes in the process of approaching you. Although it is possible to parry her attacks if you catch her correctly, it would be much better to avoid them by dodging backwards. Another of her attacks is the lunging slash, during which she will lunge forward with her weapon swinging in a diagonal fashion.
What makes this battle unique is the capability of Anna to blend in with the water. She will at times fall backwards into the water and resurface somewhere else within the arena. It also causes you to lose the lock-on, so make sure that you stay alert all the time.

When Anna’s health decreases to 75% and 25%, respectively, several Civilian foes will spawn from the water. You will get overwhelmed by the enemies if you continue to fight with Anna without considering the Civilians.
