Fate Laughs at Us All Quest
The “Fate Laughs at Us All” mission is the main quest in Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred. It occurs in the Lamenting Brume zone in the Skovos region. After completing the “Faith and Failings” mission, head towards the marked point in the Lamenting Brume area near the “Cankering Crater.” Immediately upon reaching this point, you will be able to activate the “Fate Laughs at Us All” quest and start the next stage of the story.
Head up north along the Celestia path until reaching the observatory building. You will find many Amazon warrior fighting groups of enemies on your way, so keep going until reaching the “Observatory Approach”.
Talking with Queen Adreona
Once you reach here, enter the observatory through the door and meet Queen Adreona, who will be talking with Oracle Cyra and asking for her help. Ask Tharra about the intentions of the queen, and then wait as Oracle Cyra speaks with her. Approach Queen Adreona and agree with the information provided by Tharra. Now you will be given two choices: lie to the queen, or be truthful with her.
Select the following dialogue option: “It’s true. But I trust Lilith no more than you do. I want the same thing as you, to save Sanctuary from Hatred.” After this dialogue, Queen Adreona will trust you, and she will send back her troops and join the battle against Lilith with Akarat. Now you have to talk to Oracle Cyra, asking if Queen Adreona is going to attack you. This will complete the Fate Laughs at Us All quest.
