Finding Sunny in Hellraiser: Revival involves solving puzzles that involve the Configuration. In order to reach her, you need to find a way to get past the walking Cenobites, complete a puzzle involving blocks, and navigate the Field of Souls. You also get an upgrade to your Configuration’s maximum charge during the process. In this guide, we’ll explain how to solve Sunny’s Soul Pillar puzzle and reach her location.
How to Find Sunny’s Pillar in Hellraiser: Revival
You will get the objective to find Sunny’s pillar during the Free Sunny’s Soul quest. You will get the hint to use the Configuration to free her soul, and the camera will pan out to where the pillar is located. But you can’t just walk over there, as you need to navigate the underground vault filled with traps and enemies.
Before you get to this point, you need to be prepared and charge up your cube to move objects around the dungeon. For that, you need to seek out Suffering Stands. You will find one such stand early on, in the room with the spinning and moving spiked diamonds. Get behind the moving diamonds to travel around the arena and reach the stand to recharge your cube.
There is another Suffering Stand just after the cutscene where Aidan tries to hang himself. After using the Save Portal and making your way out, follow the maze to be led to your second stand and recharge the cube. You will need this for the next area, where you need to run down several different corridors while avoiding the Cenobites blocking your way.
In one of the rooms, you will notice many pillars and a locked door. Look at one end of the room, and you will see two hovering blocks which you can operate by means of the Configuration. In order to unlock the door, you should push the horizontal block to the extreme left position. The door can be unlocked only when looking at it from the right angle; you will see a small flat platform attached to the wall. When the block reaches this platform, the door will be unlocked. You can then continue towards Sunny’s pillar.
Sunny’s Soul Pillar Puzzle Solution
Upon reaching the pillar, look below to find a slot that can be interacted with. As instructed, you need to use the Configuration and turn it into the pattern shown on the pillar to correctly align them and watch the rest of the quest unfold.
To solve this puzzle, turn one of the ends of the Configuration once. After that, rotate the Configuration to the other side. This time, however, rotate it twice and in such a way that it takes the form which is shown in the image above. Confirm your choice and activate the pillar. The puzzle is quite simple, and you can’t go wrong with it, so take your time in solving it in Hellraiser: Revival.
