In Aniimo, you are supposed to go on the quest known as Fragrant Colors. You have to visit the Sea of Flowers to collect the Iris pollen and create the fragrance. In the process of doing that, you will have to catch a Flutternym, talk to various Irises and defeat the Irisol. Once you craft the fragrance, you will be able to unlock the way to Lumenfly Valley.
Fragrant Colors Quest
The adventure begins by going to the Sea of Flowers. In this region, there are the Irises and Flutternyms, who coexist due to the scent of the Iris. But before you get to this point, you need to complete several pre-requisites. First, you need to reach level 25 and complete Elite Training Chapter 1. Along the way, you should also get the Intermediate Student promotion by completing Promotion: Dewdrop Crystal’s Resonance. After that, progress through the main quests until you complete The Unbegun Ceremony and find this quest.
To be able to get inside Lumenfly Valley, you have to first gather some scents. The normal Iris pollen is helpful, but you require something even more special. Find an Irisol, whose scent is even more vibrant compared to that of the regular Iris. Also, you require a Flutternym in order to get into Lumenfly Valley. Unfortunately, Flutternyms like to hide, and this makes it hard to get hold of one.
Look For Where The Irises Gather
Go to the Sea of Flowers and try to find a location where several Irises have clustered together. There might be a Flutternym present in that region as well. If you manage to find one, capture the Flutternym. Usually, perfumers lure such creatures using the smoke of incense, but you can capture them directly by using an Aniipod.
After capturing the Flutternym, you must gather pollen from Irises, which is required for making the fragrance. The pollen can be received from Snowy, but you need to gather some pollen from the other Irises too.
There are Irises with various colours in the Sea of Flowers. Most of them occur in other regions. According to local legend, there is an abundance of energy in that region, which helps the Irises acquire brighter colours. In the festival of Bloom, the Irises from various places gather there and dance. For communicating with them, you would require twinning with the Irises.
Twin With Iris And Dance With Other Irises
Talk to a Twin with an Iris and talk to the nearby Irises. They will provide you with the required pollen to make the perfume. In the process of talking to them, you will also come to know some things about Snowy. Unlike the other irises with different colours, Snowy doesn’t have any colour at all. But her smell is said to be far more beautiful than the others.
Snowy also knows about the whereabouts of Irisol. She guides you to the end of the Sea of Flowers where you will see the Irisol dancing. You will have to make her notice you forcefully because she won’t notice you.
Wake Irisol Through Battle
Now go to the Irisol at the end of the Sea of Flowers and talk to her. As she is busy practising her dance, you have to fight with her to awaken her. After waking her up, you should have a conversation with Irisol. She tells you that an Iris must gather some colours and dance skills to turn into an Irisol.
Also, she tells you that the Irises gather energy from the Vein that provides them with colours. Some Irises migrate from one region to another to gather energy and become colourful. Irisol also acknowledges Snowy. They both used to dance together when they were both ordinary Irises. She believed that Snowy left the place as an Irisol. After the conversation, the Irisol gives you the required pollen.
Prepare To Craft Fragrance
With the pollen gathered, you will be able to begin making the guiding scent. But then you find out that some parts of the Sea of Flowers have turned grey. You find out that it was because some Veins in that particular area had been broken for many years, leading to all of its energy draining out. The area became dry, which affected Bloomville and other surrounding places.
The story also provides an explanation for the colourlessness. Those people who were born in the areas affected by the depletion of Vein’s energy would be unable to recognize colors properly and would get sick due to different ailments. It is said that Lady Ireelia finally came to the withered land. She brought life to the place with her colourful and fragrant presence.
This explains why Bloomville celebrates the Bloom Festival whenever Lady Ireelia visits. It occurs every ten years. You will also discover that the festival was created as a tribute to an Aeon of the Zephyr Coast. The Aeon ceased its visits about a hundred years ago and stopped responding to people’s prayers.
The upcoming Bloom Festival is also worrying for these reasons. There is a danger that the past disaster may repeat itself since energy is being lost. At the moment, your primary mission is to pay a visit to Lady Valoria. In order to create the guiding incense, you have to blend Iris pollen gathered from Snowy with that of the Irisol. Once combined, they need to be distilled and blended together. The resulting fragrance will help you enter Lumenfly Valley.
Head To Lumenfly Valley
Once the perfume is ready, go to the entrance of Lumenfly Valley. You will come across an energy barrier which is not easy to break. You do not have to break the barrier in any case; rather the perfume will create a link between the outer and inner worlds of the valley. Prepare the incense sticks and make yourself ready to light them. Once you use the perfume, you will be able to enter Lumenfly Valley and complete this quest.
