The Catch 1 Eko and 1 Pomeg in Forest of Falling Stars objective in Aniimo can be a little confusing because both Aniimo are found in different locations. While Pomeg is easy to spot inside the forest, Eko can be found above the area instead. This guide explains where to find both Eko and Pomeg.
How to Catch Pomegg and Eko in Forest of Falling Stars
Before getting into this objective as part of the Aniimo Enthusiast subquest under “First Steps with Aniimo: Forest of Falling Stars”, you need to level up your character to face both Aniimos. Pomegg can appear as a level 8 – 24 Aniimo, depending on where you are looking. While searching the Forest of Falling Stars, check the lower sections of the forest with the purple flooring to find lower-level Pomeggs.
As for Eko, this Aniimo only appears at level 20–25, making it more challenging to find and capture them. It is recommended to bring along some Lightning and Light Aniimo if you have to fight any wild Eko along the way.
Since these Aniimo are pretty high level for beginners, you should spend some time getting the Aniipod Hyper for 100% catch rate. You could go for the Aniipod Pro too, but you might need several of them, since the catch rate with this Aniipod is only 84%.
How to Find Pomegg and Eko
It is relatively easy to obtain Pomegg from the Forest of Falling Stars, as there will be many available in the area. But the location of Eko might be a little difficult to find since this Aniimo is not found inside the Forest of Falling Stars. In order to catch an Eko, go to the upper part of the forest, where you must climb up to the higher part of the forest. The area you need to reach is around -1562, 1088.
After reaching the top, dismount from your mount and just take a look at the surroundings. Several Ekos should appear in the area, and when you catch one of them, it is already good enough for the objective even though you caught it outside of the Forest of Falling Stars. For the Pomegg, all you have to do is explore the forest area, as this Aniimo is abundant in that area.
