How to Spot Enemies
Identifying opponents in Wardogs becomes a great opportunity to make some extra cash while supporting your team in gaining victories in the game. There are two ways of marking points and enemies within the game, but the methods are not identical.
A regular ping allows you to highlight certain points on the map. In the case of using a keyboard, you should use the Middle Mouse Button, while controller users will have to push the Right Stick. This feature is helpful when you have to show the point, mark the area for mortar attack, etc.
As you advance in the game, you will be able to obtain better spotting devices, such as a monocular and rangefinder. The latter will be able to show you the precise distance to the object. Moreover, you will be able to take binoculars from the corpse of any opponent; thus, you do not necessarily have to buy them.
Using Binoculars
To spot real enemies, you need Binoculars that cost $75. You should put them into the Specialist slot and use them to scan the enemy. Hold your aim on him and press the fire button. In about one second, you’ll see that tracking target appears. When the box is full, the enemy is marked for all your team members.
You can mark players, vehicles, and enemy bases like that. You get some money right after the marking is finished. But if a teammate kills the marked enemy, then you have an opportunity to earn extra money and Recon XP.
It is recommended to mark those enemies who are near the battle zone, a helicopter or the hot zone. Marking an enemy that your teammates cannot reach is usually not very useful. It is also a good idea to spot an enemy before attacking them yourself. That way, you can still earn the assist reward if you miss your shots.

Different situations can pay out various amounts depending on what you have marked for your team. You will be awarded much more for spotting your own team assaulting the enemy spotter. Below is the list of payouts you can get for following certain actions.
