Fast travel allows you to navigate the vast open world of The Blood of Dawnwalker in a more efficient way without always walking. However, for that, you first have to find and unlock shrines spread out in the game world. Some shrines will be unlocked by default, while some will require restoration. In this guide, we’ll explain how fast travel works and how you can restore damaged Shrines.

How to Fast Travel in The Blood of Dawnwalker

Fast travelling in The Blood of Dawnwalker is done via the shrines that you discover when roaming the lands. Whenever you discover a shrine that has been unlocked and is glowing with colours, you will be able to use it for fast travelling. Always try unlocking all the shrines that you come across in the game since they will allow you to navigate the map in an easy manner.

To use the fast travel feature, simply interact with one of the unlocked shrines and choose the Fast Travel option. After that, you will be able to see all other shrines on the map. Select the destination shrine and confirm your choice; Coen will instantly appear at that point on the map. Thus, each time you discover a new shrine, always make sure to unlock it.

The best part about fast travel is that it will not affect your day or night cycle, so you don’t lose any time or days while using the shrines. It is best to utilise shrines for time-sensitive quests to quickly get from place to place before the 30-day period is over.

How to Restore Shrines

However, some of the Shrines will not be in their perfect shape due to various reasons when you stumble upon them during your exploration. To restore the Shrine, you will have to first locate the Shrine’s Heart. In order to locate the heart, you will have to explore different points of interest around the area and follow the clues leading to it.

Coen’s vampire senses come in handy at night to find the heart easily, or you can use Focus Mode during the daytime to find it. Sometimes, the heart will be guarded by enemies, so you need to do quick work of them first before accessing it. After locating the Shrine’s Heart, you need to take it back to the Shrine you found and use it to restore the shrine. Once the Shrine is restored, it can be used for travelling to different areas of the map.
