Mortal Shell 2 has several keys that unlock hidden dungeons and important areas. Two of them, the Chapel Key and Crypt Key, can be tricky to find if you don’t know where to look. This guide explains where to find both keys and which dungeons you can unlock with them.
How to Get & Use the Chapel Key
To get the Chapel Key, you’ll need to start by going to the south of Mushroom Village. Once you’re at the marked location, you’ll find a fire in front of you and an arch on the left.
Go through the arch and a big stone statue will appear magically. Inspect the rope hanging from the statue’s hands and you’ll get the Chapel Key. With the key in your hand, you’ll be able to unlock the Shrine of Trials Dungeon for exploration. You need to get to this location to find the Axe and Dagger weapon.
How to Get & Use the Crypt Key
To get the Crypt Key, you’ll need to head to the Illusionist’s Cache Dungeon. Once you’re at the marked location, you’ll find a stone structure in front of you and Baghead sitting there.
Enter the structure from the back and you’ll find the Crypt Key on a table kept at the right side of the entrance. The Crypt Key will help you unlock the Hall of Echoes Dungeon for further exploration.
