As the second objective after Last Rites, the quest “And Your Enemies Closer” becomes available for you. You can complete it before or after the other available objective, but both are necessary to push the story forward.
The goal of the mission is to covertly obtain intel without having to fight your way past the cultists. The target is a Cultis Lieutenant; therefore, it is critical to disable the anti-drone system of the camp before trying to reach him.
Recon the Compound From Outside
Make your way to the Cultists’ base, but do not step inside the main complex just yet. Launch a drone from a safe distance and inspect the area with it. Note that the signal will be lost if you approach the base too closely, because of a drone-jamming device being used by the enemies.
Turn your attention to the big antenna to identify the location of the drone-jamming device. The jammer is at the base of the antenna, towards the back of the compound.
If needed, you can use the Sync Shot technique to eliminate enemies around the base without raising alarms by doing so. After that, send your team to a safe spot away from the complex and order them to hold their position.
Sneak Around to the Jammer
The next section is best attempted alone without the company of your teammates. There are security traps that you need to be mindful of when traversing the compound.
Bear traps are placed around the area so do not make the mistake of rushing through the place blindly. Getting caught in one of these traps will cause you damage and blow the cover of your otherwise clean approach.
Reach the target area and disable the enemy device. When it is disabled, use that device to help bring back your drone in operation.
Let the Drone Do the Work
Position the drone behind the broken jamming system. Then fly the drone to the mission mark. You have to identify the target on the second floor of the main building. Cultist Lieutenant can be seen praying right around here.
This mission is not about killing anyone. Make sure that your drone is kept at a distance so that you can overhear the Lieutenant’s conversation without interruption. His dialogue contains the information Price needs about La Llorona and her activities in Villa Verde.
Make sure to stay until the dialogue is done in order to complete the objective successfully without getting detected.
Finish the Investigation
Now that the Lieutenant has told you what he knows, And Your Enemies Closer will be complete. Since the information is collected, there’s no need to clear the full outpost.
After that, you will also need to deal with the other Tacmap objective, Vow of Silence to proceed with the Last Rites storyline. Since those two missions don’t need to be done in a certain order, you can just take care of whatever you haven’t done yet.
