Muddy Playtime Habitat in Pokémon Pokopia provides the opportunity of attracting various Pokémon such as Marshtomp, Barboach, and Inkay. You will need to get four items to construct the desired habitat. The items are Windup Inkay, Towel Rack, Floating Logs, and Muddy Water. Here’s how to find each requirement and build the Muddy Playtime Habitat in Bubbly Basin.

Muddy Playtime Habitat Requirements

Muddy Playtime is a constructible Habitat available in the Bubbly Basin DLC. It lets Pokémon have fun in muddy water by interacting with the toys or riding the floating logs. To build the Habitat, you need the following four items:

Required ItemQuantity
Windup Inkay1
Towel Rack1
Floating Logs1
Muddy Water2

You need one Windup Inkay, one Towel Rack, one Floating Logs, and two Muddy Water to complete the Muddy Playtime Habitat.

How To Get Windup Inkay

A Windup Inkay can be obtained freely within the Bubbly Basin. Travel north from the town, take the road into the water, then go west beyond the pavilion that provides you with the seashell seat for Barboach.

Continue down the street until you come to a spot with brick blocks on the walls, then take left inside the tunnel. Break the rocks inside the tunnel with Rock Smash so you can enter a room with the Windup Inkay inside a red colored Pokeball.

There are also other ways of getting Windup Inkay such as through large lost items being appraised or from Trade Specialty Pokémon that randomly sell items.

How to Get Towel Rack

Towel racks are available in both Bleak Beach and Sparkling Skylands, with locations including S.S. Anne, the small pond located to the east of the Pokemon Center, and the 3rd floor of a large building. You can also create one at a Workbench by using 1 Twine and 1 Iron Ingot. You will acquire the craft recipe randomly from Glowing Water Spots or from the daily PC Shop.

How to Get Floating Logs

The floating logs are a feature only available in the Bubbly Basin DLC. To craft them, you will need to use a Workbench to combine 1 Small Log with 1 Vine Rope. They can also be collected from the muddy waters next to the Pokémon Center in the Bubbly Basin.

How to Get Muddy Water

Muddy Water is located at Bleak Beach in the marsh near Mosslax’s cave. You can gather it by using your Gulp ability to suck up the water. Another option is to purchase a Moomoo Milk Coffee from a functioning Vending Machine.

Pokémon That Appear At Muddy Playtime

After acquiring the Muddy Playtime Habitat, players will be able to attract three types of Pokémon. Marshtomp and Barboach are common Pokémon while Inkay is a rare Pokémon.

The three Pokémon can be seen in the morning, daytime, evening, or night. They can also be seen in the sunny, cloudy, or rainy weather.

Marshtomp

Marshtomp is a Common Pokémon available in Muddy Playtime. It can spawn anytime during the day and in sunny, rainy or cloudy weather.

Barboach

Barboach is another Common Pokémon found in this habitat. Like Marshtomp, it can appear during any time of day and in sunny, rainy, or cloudy weather.

Inkay

Inkay is a Rare Pokémon linked with Muddy Playtime. It can appear at any time of day and in sunny, rainy, or cloudy weather.
