In case you’re trying to fulfil Stunfisk’s mission in Pokémon Pokétopia, you may be wondering where to find the Ocean Pals Rug. There are no hints in the game as to where it is located, and this makes it very easy to overlook. However, finding the rug should not be too challenging. In this guide, we’ll tell you how to unlock Stunfisk’s request, rebuild the Bubbly Basin Pokémon Centre, and find the Ocean Pals Rug.
Where to find the Stunfisk
Stunfisk is found lying on the ground near the bushes. The area is close to the stairs of the Temple Building. Once the Pokémon Centre of Bubbly Basin is rebuilt, Stunfisk will come to you asking for the Ocean Pals Rug.
Where to find the Ocean Pals Rug for Stunfisk
Ocean Pals Rug can be obtained by going past the stairs and crossing the bridge after that. Remember to look to your left and see a small house whose roof is partially visible. Get in, take the rug and go back to Stunfisk.
You will talk to Stunfisk and give it the rug for the request. Stunfisk will be happy to see it and it will return the rug back to you so you can display it wherever you want. This isn’t the only rug available in the game, as you can find some while exploring the other underwater structures, or even get them from the PC shop after leveling up your Environment Level.
How to Rebuild the Pokemon Center
Since you require a completed Pokemon Center to spawn a Stunfisk, here’s how to do it. The Pokemon Center quest unlocks right after arriving at Bubbly Basin. Professor Tangrowth will call you and ask whether you know a Pokémon Centre around. Popplio says it knows where one is, so follow it through the underwater tunnel on the other side of town.
When you exit through the tunnel after swimming, there will be some ruins, including the ruins of the Pokémon Centre. In order to build it, you have to increase the Environment Level of Bubbly Basin to Level 3. Then go to the PC in the ruined Pokémon Centre and purchase the Pokémon Centre Building Kit with 1,000 Coins.
To complete the reconstruction, you will require:
- 25 Star-Spotted Rocks
- 5 Shiny Pearls
- 10 Seashells
- 10 Sea Glass Fragments
In addition, you will require a team of eight Pokémon for the reconstruction process. After the Pokémon Centre has been reconstructed, you can proceed to accept Stunfisk’s request to look for the Ocean Pals Rug.
