You will reach a point in Chapter 1 of Beast of Reincarnation where you will be unable to make any progress due to a gate that requires three keys to open it. While the game marks where to find each key, the search for the keys requires some exploration on your part. This guide reveals the location of each key and how you can unlock the path forward.
How to Unlock the Sealed Gate in Chapter 1
The search for the first Nushi does not come to an end after defeating your first boss in the Beast of Reincarnation. When the enemy is gone, you will reach a huge locked door at Abandoned Village/Subcity 03, and you have to open the door by collecting three different keys located in that area.
Luckily, the game shows you your next move. At the gate you will find a non-playable character (NPC) who will hand over the Red Key and reveal the map locations of the Blue and Yellow Keys. After collecting the three keys, you can go back to the gate and continue on with Chapter 1 of the story.
Red Key
Upon reaching the gated area in the main quest of “Towards the Nushi’s Lair,” you will have the opportunity to collect the Red Key. If you wish to receive it, speak with the NPC that’s next to the area. This will also uncover the places where the remaining two keys are located, thus allowing you to decide your next moves in the game.
Blue Key
Of the two final challenges, obtaining the Blue Key tends to be the simpler and quicker task due to the fact that it is usually found closest to the entrance.
Go to the Blue Key emblem first. Then proceed to the mountain trail. Whenever the incline becomes too steep to walk on, climb up the craggy surfaces using Emma’s faint hair and finally reach a tiny campsite that offers a view of the entire area. There, you will be able to spot the purple glimmering light on the ground, which you need to tap on in order to register the Blue Key in your inventory.
The trip is relatively simple, and one will not encounter any formidable foe along the route.
Yellow Key
Finding the Yellow Key in this region of the map is not an easy task so a plan must be devised to claim it.
To begin, go to the Tailwater Village. While traveling, you will encounter different foes, so you can choose whether to face the foes in battle or sneak up on them and hide in the bushes. Keep walking until you reach the cave where you will be able to get past the guards who are guarding the cave. Still, you will need to fight the Malefactor Bear.
Once you manage to eliminate the Grizzly Malefactor, you will obtain the Tailwater Key from him. Now, the key will allow you to enter the cave’s interior. There, you will be able to meet the Golem who will provide you with the Yellow Key.
Opening the Sealed Door
When you possess all three keys, return to the large door where you initially encountered the person with whom you need to converse. By acquiring the Red, Blue, and Yellow keys, you will additionally open the gate and proceed to the next chapter of the game.
Although some players choose to start with the Blue key owing to the ease and speed of getting it, it is unnecessary to follow a specific guide when collecting the keys because all three are needed to open the door. Beyond this door is a house that you can raid to find a Strongbox. The box is located on the upper floor. Unlocking it will give you the following rewards:
