Jetragon is one of the best Legendary Pals that you could possibly have in Palworld 1.0. While this Pal is a great fighter, it is one of the best flying mounts that you could use in the game. Getting Jetragon is not an easy task, considering its new location after the 1.0 update. In this guide, we’ll tell you where to find Jetragon, how to beat and catch it, the best Pals to use, and how to breed more Jetragons.

How to Get Jetragon in Palworld 1.0

For Palworld 1.0, Jetragon has been relocated to the Sunreach Islands that lie in the far southeast region of the map. First, head towards the Azure Tapestry fast travel spot at coordinates (-478, 1381). The fastest route to reach this location is to fly using a Pal. Upon reaching Azure Tapestry, look northwest and head towards the island located nearby. On the island, there will be a cave at (555, 3133) where Jetragon will be waiting.

How to Defeat Jetragon in Palworld

However, before going into battle, ensure that you have all the necessary preparation and gear ready. Having the proper gear and weapons makes winning the battle considerably easier. In this case, the assault rifle would be quite a good weapon due to consistent damage while maintaining safe ranges. However, you may choose to use the optional homing sphere launcher since it is quite helpful in allowing you to land Pal Spheres on Jetragon easily.

In addition, be sure to bring many Ultra Spheres and legendary Spheres. Since the capture rate of this creature is relatively low, having more spheres allows you to have a greater chance of capturing it without necessarily leaving the arena to craft more spheres.

It is advisable to build a Palbox near the boss arena. This lets you quickly return if you’re defeated, restock your supplies, swap Pals, and jump back into the fight without making the long trip again. Building a storage box nearby is another way to store the excess materials and gear. Ensure that you prepare enough food and Pals before entering the battle arena. Having powerful combat Pals will make it much easier to wear Jetragon down safely.

Best Pals

You can defeat Jetragon with any strong Pal, but Ice-type Pals have a clear advantage because they’re effective against Dragon-type enemies. In case you have Frostallion, it is a good choice since it is capable of doing lots of damage. Another choice is Reindrix, which will provide you with a combination of offence and durability.

Besides, you may bring Foxcicle along, as its Partner Skill will give your Ice Pals a boost of damage, and thus make the battle easier. Finally, if you have enough Fire Pals, try using them, as they will be able to inflict the Burn status on Jetragon.

Strategy to Beat Jetragon

Upon reaching the location of Jetragon, lure it to come closer to the battle area and climb up the rocky ledge close to it. The high location is your greatest strength in this battle. Jetragon gets stuck between the rocks and underneath the ledge while attacking you in this battle. When this happens, it’s much easier to deal damage without putting yourself in too much danger. Keep track of the health of your Pal and the health of Jetragon at all times in the battle, and never allow your Pal to be knocked out.

In case Jetragon gets out of the way or goes out of position, lure it back using your Assault Rifle. Be aware that Jetragon can hit extremely hard. Make sure you’re wearing upgraded armour, and if your shield breaks, don’t rush back into combat. Wait for it to recharge before attacking again, as Jetragon can easily defeat you if you’re unprotected.

Once the health of Jetragon is low, throw the Legendary or Ultra Sphere when it gets stuck or stopped. This gives you the best chance of successfully catching it. With the right setup and a little patience, you can defeat and capture Jetragon much more easily.

How to Breed Jetragon

A new Jetragon may be obtained by mating two Jetragons. To do this, you need to build a Breeding Farm that becomes unlocked at level 19. Then, create a Cake that requires Flour, Red Berries, Milk, Eggs, and Honey and put it in the storage of your Breeding Farm.

Then, place a male and a female Jetragon into the Breeding Farm. In this case, a Jetragon Egg will be produced. You should then put the egg into an Egg Incubator and let it hatch there. Once the incubation process is finished, you will have a new Jetragon.

Jetragon Pal Gear

Once you reach Level 79, you can unlock and craft Jetragon’s Missile Launcher. To make it, you’ll need

70 Leather

  • 210 Paldium Fragments
  • 200 Refined Ingots
  • 50 Circuit Boards
  • 24 AI Cores
  • 60 Paloxite Ingots

After equipping this Pal Gear, you can ride Jetragon as a flying mount and use its Aerial Missile Partner Skill. This lets you continuously fire missiles while flying, making Jetragon even more powerful for both combat and exploring the world.
