Linen Fabric is one of the most useful fabrics in Windrose, which will come in handy in your journey as you create new equipment, gear, and other things using it. You can’t expect to use Linen Fabric in the early stages of the game, but towards the mid-game stage, you will get it. It is a simple process to get Linen Fabric in Windrose, as you need to follow a few basic steps for that. In this guide, we’ll walk you through everything you need to know to start making Linen Fabric.

How to Get Linen Fabric

Before going further, it will be necessary for you to unlock the Foothills Biome first. This can be done by playing the game and beating the final boss from the Coastal Jungle Biome. The next step will require you to make a Spinning Wheel. Once that’s done, you’ll require the Flax Fibre to create your Linen Fabric.

How to Get Flax Fibre

For the flax, you need to have access to the Foothills zone first. To unlock the Foothills zone, you need to defeat the primary boss, Thomas Richards, who is found in the Coastal Jungle. After defeating Thomas Richards, the Foothills zone will become accessible for exploration. It is in this zone that you will be able to find flax. Flax can be identified by its small blue flowers. While harvesting flax, you also have a chance of getting flax seeds, which can later be planted.

How to Get the Spinning Wheel

To craft a Spinning Wheel, you’ll need 10 Wood and 5 Rope. Wood is easy to collect, just chop down trees or palm trees using an axe. For Rope, head to your Workbench and craft it using plant fibre, which you can gather from bushes and plants around the map.

After gathering all the necessary resources, you can install the Spinning Wheel. Firstly, the Spinning Wheel must be placed in the area covered by the Bonfire; otherwise, it will not work. Secondly, it must be under a roof since otherwise, it will not operate at all.
