Three new sets of Kuku Armour have been added with the release of Update 1.13 in Crimson Desert. The process of acquiring the blueprints for crafting these armours is not an easy task because you cannot buy them from any merchant. You have to meet a certain witch in order to purchase each armour set blueprint. In this guide, we will tell you where to find every Kuku Armour recipe and what you need to do to unlock them.
All New Kuku Armours In Update 1.13
There are three new sets of Cuckoo Elemental Armour released in Patch 1.13, located in Crimson Desert. The recipes for the armours are available from three witches, but one of them has an additional requirement. Here’s how to get them all.
Kuku Lightning Bolt Plate Armour
Begin your journey by heading west of Pailune Base until you reach Crimson Lake. In this location, you should discover a hidden witch that lives in a hut. To purchase the recipe, you must first equip the Ring of Lightning. It is important that you do this; otherwise, you will not receive the blueprint within the witch’s shop. After equipping the Ring of Lightning, talk with the witch once more, and she will offer you the recipe for the Lightning Bolt Plate Armour in exchange for 500 Silver. It has:
- Defence – 38
- Attack Speed Lvl 3
- Critical Rate Lvl 2
- Lightning Resistance Lvl 10
Kuku Scorchflame Plate Armour
To find the second armour, go slightly west of Delesyia and find the witch named Lcilia. Her shop is hidden inside an underground hut, so make sure you take the downward route to meet her. There are no special conditions to be fulfilled, unlike the first recipe. You can get the blueprint after speaking to her. It costs 500 Silver to buy the blueprint. It has:
- Defence – 14
- Attack Speed Lvl 0
- Critical Rate Lvl 2
- Fire Resistance Lvl 7
Kuku Frostcursed Plate Armour
The last recipe can be found in the area near Urava in the Crimson Desert zone. This time you’re looking for the witch Areciel. You will need to climb up the mountain nearby and then enter the little hut located there. Once inside the hut, you just need to use the left door and climb further up until you meet her. Just buy the blueprint of Kuku Frostcursed Plate Armour for 500 Silver. It has:
- Defence – 18
- Critical Rate Lvl 2
- Fire Resistance Lvl 10
