One of the unique creatures found in ARK: Survival Ascended is the Magmasaur which cannot be tamed directly. To get access to one, you will have to steal a Magmasaur Egg and hatch it. The Magmasaur eggs are located inside a cave somewhere in the Volcanic Biome. Here is how you will get to the Magmasaur Egg nest location by following the coordinates and instructions provided below.
What Is the Magmasaur?
The Magmasaur is a creature that is associated with fire and found in the Volcanic Biome in the game ARK: Survival Ascended Genesis. In contrast to most creatures, this one cannot be tamed in the wild. The way to obtain the creature is through the process of stealing the Magmasaur Egg from the nest and hatching it.
Once it becomes an adult, a Magmasaur, it can function as a mobile forge, allowing certain materials to be smelted while traveling. Besides, it is important to mention that the Magmasaur has the ability to travel across lava with a player mounted on the back while harvesting stone, wood, and thatch as well as using magma based attacks on the enemies and opponents.
Tips for Collecting Magmasaur Eggs
Reaching the nests can be difficult since they are situated within the depths of a lava chamber. Players will need to use tools of mobility like the grappling hook, and parachute to make the journey in and out of the nest place easier. There is also mention of using Bloodstalker so as to get to the nests and out successfully with an egg.
If you want to take a cautious route, then consider equipping stealth equipment, or use other players to act as distractions to the Magmasaurs as you collect the eggs. Note that the nesting areas are surrounded by lava and guarded by a number of Magmasaurs. Thus it pays not to go charging into the nesting area without a plan.
Magmasaur Cave Entrance Location
You can find the Magmasaur cave in the Volcanic Biome. The easiest landmark to recognize when searching for the entrance is the large lava waterfall. After you have spotted the waterfall, you can go under the volcano to reach the cave entrance.

There are mainly two locations where you’ll be able to find the Magmasaur Eggs;
First Magmasaur Egg Location
When you get into the cave, keep to the right-hand wall. Follow the path and you’ll see some purple crystals that signify you’re on the right track to reach your destination, the egg nests.
It is important to continue following the path downhill while being careful not to step on the lava. At around 17.0 degrees Latitude and 87.0 degrees Longitude, there is a Magmasaur egg nest below the path, which is the easiest place to find the egg in the cave.

Second Magmasaur Egg Locations
Further into the cave, you can continue along the same path to find more Magmasaur nests. This region has more Magmasaurs, making it more dangerous than the first nest.
Afterwards, there will be another lava pool that can be found around 23.0 Latitude, 90.0 Longitude. In addition to the Magmasaur eggs, this region contains Element as well, but the only downside is that it is under the watchful gaze of Magmasaurs so you’ll need to be cautious.

Hatching the Magmasaur
After you have gotten hold of a Magmasaur egg, you will need to hatch it first. The hatched Magmasaur has to eat specific food as it grows into maturity. When the Magmasaur has matured successfully, it can also be bred to obtain more eggs.
Once it grows fully, it has a number of benefits which it can provide like functioning as a mobile forge, harvesting resources, traveling through lava while mounted, and using powerful magma-based attacks.
