The Scar Sword can be one of the better weapons to use early in the game, assuming you meet the Strength requirement to use it. This guide provides an overview of how to properly equip the Scar Sword, its statistics, building around the use of this weapon, and what to expect when using it against more formidable opponents early in the game.
Scar Sword Stats and Requirements

As one of the most powerful swords available, the Scar Sword is a one-hand model with 85 edge damage, as well as requiring 70 Strength. You will have to obtain this sword from Gomez’s bodyguard Scar who is located within the Old Camp Castle in Chapter 2. It is first introduced in Chapter 2 which makes it a strong option if you meet its Strength requirement.
Best Way to Use Scar Sword

The Scar Sword is excellent for a Strength-based character. The character could be a Level 7 with 71 Strength and will still be expected to continue adding to the Strength again before investing any more of the Learning Points on One-Handed Combat. The Ring of Power is an additional source of strength. Though the player’s One-Handed skill can be a Level 2, the player can deal very high amounts of damage for all attacks (even basic attacks) with this weapon.
Scar Sword Combat Performance

Although the Scar Blade is demonstrated in Orc Territory which is an area that isn’t typically designed for early-game exploration, the blade can do great damage to opponents with combination attacks even from the initial enemies. It is also advisable to carry healing items because the opponents in the area still remain dangerous.
