In Destiny 2, there exists an exciting racing style that requires Guardians to race against one another using their Sparrows on fast tracks. However, racing alone does not ensure victory because the racer must know when to collect power from boost gates, how to manage their thrust charges, and how to take turns in a way that allows them to outrun their opponents. This racing league, known as Sparrow Racing League (SRL), is worth taking up if you are a beginner or have taken a break from playing for a while now. Here’s everything you need to know to get started and make the most of every race.
How to Play Sparrow Racing League

In order to participate in a race, you need to launch the Director, choose the Crucible mode, and find the playlist called “Sparrow Racing League”. After completing the introduction to the game, you will be able to start the SRL right away.
At the point when the countdown ends, try accelerating exactly when the race starts. This trick will provide you with a slight advantage, enabling you to surpass other players. When racing, try to make your turns as tight as possible while looking for better ways around the tracks. There might even be some shortcuts along the way.

To the lower left-hand side of your display, there is a bar with three smaller bars beneath it. The small bars signify your current thrust charges. By using these charges, you can avoid going in the left or right direction, allowing you to perform sharper manoeuvres while maintaining an optimal racing line. It is important that you pay attention to this bar, as the correct use of thrust will make all the difference when it comes to making turns.
Make sure to watch out for the blue SRL gates that have been positioned throughout the tracks, which give you speed boosts if driven through. This will help you maintain your momentum, which can be hindered if you do not go through these gates. Thrust charges are replenished automatically after each lap, but performing tricks is a great way to get extra charges while racing.
