In Subnautica 2, Strontium is extremely helpful but it’s not easy to get your hands on it as it requires you to process Celestine using the base processor. This guide will provide you with an outline on how to locate Celestine deposits, extract them, and convert them into Strontium using your base processor.

Find Celestine Near the Power Plant

You’ll need to begin your journey at the Rosetta Stone as it works as a good landmark which you can use as your starting point, especially since there is a large tower and research facility by it. Once you have reached the Rosetta Stone, go directly to the power plant area. When you are at the bottom part of the power plant area, near the lower section of the area, you should be able to see Celestine deposits.

You will find Celestine all over this region; however they will be abundant in the deeper parts of this region. You’ll also find some alien combs around the area whilst exploring.

Break the Celestine Deposits and Process the Material

To find Celestine and extract it from its deposits, you will need a good mining tool that can break the deposits into resources easily without any hassle. Destroying/blasting one Celestine deposit will give you multiple pieces of Celestine deposits which you’ll be able to use at your processor.

After extracting Celestine from a deposit, players will have to return to base and use the base’s processing. When using the processor, players will have to select the “Strontium” option and then use the collected Celestine as input into the processor. This will process the Celestine into Strontium which you can use for fabricating vehicular components.
