For upgrading your camp from level one to level two in Crimson Desert, this guide is going to describe each of the stages and detail what you need to do in order to unlock, prepare for, and complete the second expansion easily.
Unlocking the Second Expansion Upgrade
To achieve level 2 upgrade, you will need to perform a dispatch mission. During the first step towards performing the dispatch mission you may have trouble finding the path of how to trigger it for the first time, but note that it will become available to you after making substantial progress with your allies in the game and finishing most of the quests. The dispatch mission, “A Sweet Taste of Bounty” is optional to complete, but you must finish the quests to unlock the new phase of progression. To monitor your progress, simply go to Grey Mains and view which quests you have completed and what you have left to complete.
Preparing for the Second Expansion Upgrade
After completing the last allied missions, you want to head to Grounds of Sunrise as your next step. At Grounds of Sunrise, you will find the “Expanding the Camp” mission, which unlocks the ability to upgrade your camp from level 1 to level 2. Before you complete the mission, double-check that you have enough of the resources required to perform this upgrade. You may need to complete additional farming or grinding for dispatch missions to gather the necessary materials required for this upgrade.
Completing the Second Expansion Upgrade
When you’re ready, visit the dispatch guy and assign at least one builder, along with three other characters, to the mission. It takes approximately a day and a half for the team to finish building the camp. You’ll have an upgraded camp at level 2 and an increased base capacity after the job is complete. A greater number of characters, approximately 25 to 30, can now be sent to perform tasks.
