The battery puzzle in Biodiversity Labs in Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 can be difficult if you aren’t aware of how the power routing for the system works. In this guide, we will show you where to obtain the batteries, activate the system, and how to connect the power allowing you to open the exit door.
Finding the Utility Room Power Setup
Once you exit the area with the big tree and orange breakable growths, you will find yourself in the next area of the Biodiversity Labs. Once you find the yellow door marked as “Utility”, go through it. In this room, you will find a battery lying on the floor. Make sure you pick it up before moving on to any other actions.
To continue moving forward, you’ll need to climb onto the stacked boxes and use your Pressurized Hand to break through the wooden panel to reveal an open space where the power puzzle takes place.
Powering the System
Inside the building, you will see two battery holders side by side mounted to the wall; place one of the batteries into one slot, and find the second battery that is nearby and insert it into the other slot. After you have both batteries in place, you will need to activate the switch, which is located between them. Once activated, the cable extending from your hand will go from a normal colour to blue, signifying that there is electricity flowing through it.
At this time, you must continue to hold the switch while you move around the room.
Routing the Power to Open the Door
Two power boxes marked with lightning symbols stand in the room, each with a red pole on top. While holding the switch, guide the blue cable around both poles to route the power correctly.
Once the wall terminal displays two blue lightning icons, use your free hand to activate the switch. This opens the red door on the right and lets you move forward.
