How to Use Thorium Ore in Hytale
You cannot use raw Thorium Ore as it is, you have to convert it into Thorium Ingots first by using a Furnace. To craft a Furnace, access the Workbench and gather the following materials:
- 6 Tree Trunks (any type)
- 6 Stones
When the Furnace is built, it should be positioned at your base. You will then need to interact with the Furnace to open up its interface. Simply place the thorium ores in the center slots, then place a suitable fuel source in the left slot of the Furnace to begin the smelting process. Wood blocks, sticks, and charcoal are valid fuel sources for the Furnace.
After adding a suitable fuel source, you will then have to turn the Furnace on. The thorium ore will begin smelting into ingots over time, so you can collect and utilize them for advanced crafting and progression.
