You must complete the perfect execution for a Z-Team shift for the Shift Was Lit achievement in Dispatch. You have to answer every call promptly without failing. This article describes the ideal episodes for completing the Shift Was Lit achievement and also how to effectively manage your heroes when you perform your own hero dispatches so that you can have a perfect run.
How to Unlock Shift Was Lit
The Shift Was Lit is a Bronze-tier achievement that can be obtained by completing the entire Z-Team shift without missing or failing any calls. As early as Episode 2, when you’re first introduced to the Z-Team Dispatch System, you will have the chance to earn this achievement. Completing it in this episode is also strongly encouraged because of the lower difficulty level and fewer missing assignments that will make your completion much easier than it would be if you attempted it in later episodes.
Conditions for Success & Dispatching the Right Heroes
In order to be eligible for this achievement you must respond to every incoming call throughout your shift with no calls skipped and also each call must be successfully answered. After the completion of your shift you will receive a summary screen that states you had 0 Missed Calls and 0 Failed Calls. If either one of those statements is false, you will not receive credit for this achievement, and you must try again on your next shift.
You will have to assign a hero to every call based on its statistics. Your goal is to select the hero who is best suited for the situation. At certain points, you might feel that you have made the right selection for the call but it could still end up with a failed result sometimes. Therefore, retries are important to achieve the perfect run. For certain situations, selecting the option “Scare the kid straight” is the correct response.
Recommended Episode to Attempt
While Shift Is Lit is theoretically completeable in every episode, the further an individual has progressed through the game, the more chaotic the game becomes. During gameplay, as players progress through shifts, there are many more calls in addition to tighter call and response setup times (the result being that the greater likelihood exists of missing or failing calls).
Early episodes are easier to manage and involve fewer calls, making Episode 2 (“Onboard”) the safest and most efficient time to earn the achievement.
Note: For objectives such as Locate Stolen Art, Coupé is capable of completing the task alone. However, Invisigal or Flambae can also be dispatched as backup to help secure success and earn additional XP.
