In Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, the “Chasing Ghosts” mission sends you on a thrilling quest to track down the individuals responsible for stealing your Scanner and Artifact. Here, one of the key objectives is to retrieve the Azimuth Access Key from the Ward. In this guide, we will discuss how to get inside the Azimuth Station and retrieve the Azimuth access key from the ward in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl.
Get Inside the Azimuth Station
Azimuth Station is located in the Wild Island Region. Head east, crossing the collapsed metal bridge over the water. As you approach, you will hear radio chatter between some Warden soldiers, followed by gunfire and then silence. Once you reach the other side, climb the hill to the left of the tunnel, near the water’s edge. Make your way toward the base through the woods, heading toward the watchtower. Destroy the gravity anomaly with the help of bolts. Now crouch through the hole in the wall, and you will be inside.
Retrieve the Azimuth Access Key from the Ward
Head northeast of the Azimuth Station, where you will find a building with a large radio dish on its roof. The body of Major Hryhorchenko is located on the east side of the building. Loot his body to obtain the Azimuth Station Basement Key. Behind the body, you will find a staircase leading down. Make sure to bring a strong weapon with you as you proceed. Going down the stairs, you will come to a gate and soon after, a prison cell. Use the key to unlock the gate, then enter the cell. Here, you will find an open hatch on the floor with a ladder leading down.
Continue following the path, and you will eventually run into a group of enemies. Fight with them and defeat them. In the room, you will notice metal stairs. To the right of them, there is an open doorway. Go through this door and continue through the next open door on the far side of the room. Take a left, followed by another left turn, and you will find the body of Sergeant Nikitin. He will have the Azimuth Key Card on him.
