The first branching path occurs in the Episode Wind-up Doll, where Vegeta faces off against Android 18. The challenge is to defeat Android 18 within a set time limit. Once you defeat Android 18 within the time limit, you’ll open up a completely new timeline for the prince of all Saiyans. Family plays a significant role in this path, which is called Parental Bond.
Trunks Face off Against his Father
Trunks will face off against his father, and you’ll need to push him to the point where he transforms into Super Trunks. It won’t be easy, so make sure to land your strongest attacks and activate sparking mode. Once Trunks transforms into Super Trunks, the battle will become more challenging. Defeat Super Trunks to unlock the next part of the Parental Bond storyline. You will receive a reward of Zeni x1000, x50 XP.
Vegeta and Cell Face off
Finally, Vegeta will face Cell, but he hasn’t reached his full potential yet, so defeating Cell is not possible at this stage. Your goal is to lower Cell’s health bar to finish the episode. This will grant Vegeta access to the Cell Games, and you’ll receive a reward of 1,000 Zeni and 50 XP.
Revenge Against Cell
The first opponent in the Cell Games is now Vegeta. As the battle between Vegeta and Cell unfolds, it quickly becomes clear that things aren’t going well for Vegeta. Trunks steps in to take the hits from Cell, which fuels Vegeta’s anger and leads him to vow revenge against Cell. You’ll receive a reward of 1,000 Zeni and 50 XP.
Vegeta’s Final Flash
The final battle in Parental Bond showcases a father-son team-up against Cell. You’ll witness an epic clash between Cell’s Kamehameha and Vegeta’s Final Flash. Then, the story takes an exciting turn; instead of the typical father-son Kamehameha, you’ll experience a different kind of bonding moment between them. You’ll earn a reward of 1,000 Zeni and 50 XP.
Vegeta and Trunks join forces to complete the Father-Son Final Flash, defeating Cell once and for all. This wraps up the Parental Bond storyline for Vegeta.
