The Seesaw Puzzle in Silent Hill 2 Remake might seem tricky, but it’s actually one of the simplest puzzles  in the Bluecreek Apartments. However, don’t let that fool you, you still need to be careful as monsters can appear at any time. To solve the puzzle, you need to find a specific figurine to balance the seesaw with the Pigeon Figurine. Unfortunately, this figurine doesn’t exist on its own. You’ll have to create it by combining other pieces you find in the area. If you’re stuck, here’s a step-by-step guide to help you solve the Seesaw Puzzle.

How to enter Bluecreek Apartments

Players can reach the Bluecreek Apartments by climbing the fire escape of the Wood Side Apartments or by a small area behind the Baldwin Mansion. In the area, however, the entrance to the third floor is blocked off. Upon entering Bluecreek Apartments, players will initially find themselves in Room 203 on the second floor, which is characterized by a somewhat cluttered environment

How to start the Seesaw Puzzle

The Seesaw Puzzle is located in Room 210 of the Blue Creek Apartments. This is the same room that James marks as “H” on his map. You can only access this room after completing the Hour Hand puzzle, which is part of the Clock puzzle in Room 212.

How to Solve Seesaw Puzzle

After finding the Minute Hand for the Clock in Silent Hill 2, you can solve the Seesaw Puzzle. To do this, you must first complete the radio and valves puzzle and unlock the new area by placing the Hour Hand. Once you’ve done this, you’ll receive the Minute Hand and be sealed inside.

1. Get the Pigeon Figurine

  • Find it in the open wardrobe of Apartment 210.

2. Retrieve the Malformed Figurine Part:

  • Go to the bathroom of Apartment 209.
  • Break the divider blocking the bath.
  • Pick up the Malformed Figurine Part inside.

3. Find the Wooden Swan Head:

  • Head to Apartment 211.
  • Break the wall in the kitchen.
  • Squeeze through to find the Swan Head.

4. Combine the Figurines:

  • Combine the Swan Head and Malformed Figurine Part to create the Swan Figurine.

5. Solve the Seesaw Puzzle:

  • Go to the Seesaw.
  • Place the Pigeon Figurine in the far left slot.
  • Place the Swan Figurine in the second innermost slot on the right.
  • The Seesaw should balance, break, and you’ll get the Winged Key.

This will open the door to the left of the Seesaw, allowing you to continue your journey and progress with the ongoing Clock puzzle in Silent Hill 2 Remake.

The Seesaw Puzzle is one of the easier challenges in the Blue Creek Apartments, but it’s still not without its difficulties, especially considering the game’s horror elements. Like most other puzzles, this has a significant role in telling the story in Silent Hill 2 Remake.
