The game “The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom” has many different echoes that you can collect. These echoes are like magical objects that can help you in the game. One quest in the game asks you to find a special echo that is not easy to find. If you don’t know how to find it, you won’t be able to finish the quest.
This guide will show you how to find a large Hydrozol echo. You need this echo to complete a quest called “A Curious Child” in the game “The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.
How to start the A Curious Child Quest
After Zelda gets her new look and her reputation is restored, you can explore Hyrule Castle and Hyrule Castle Town. Before you leave Castle Town, look for a house with a brown roof in the southwest corner. It’s near the well you used to enter the castle. There’s a young boy there with a red question mark above his head. Talk to him to start the side quest “A Curious Child.” You start with a regular Zol, then show them an Ignizol, and finally a Hydrozol. But the child wants to see a bigger Hydrozol.
Location of Zol
The boy wants to see a Zol, which is a green blob monster that you saw on Suthorn Shore. It might be the first monster you saw in the game. If you don’t have the Zol Echo, go to Suthorn Village and take the left exit to Suthorn Shore. Or, take the right exit to find Zols in the tall grass.
Location of Ignizol
After you show the boy the Zol Echo, he will ask for an Ignizol and then a Hydrozol. You probably already have the Ignizol at this point in the game. If you don’t, you can find one in a cave to the east of Suthorn Village or in Zora Cove.
Go to Suthorn Village and take the same road you took to go to Suthorn Ruins. Look at the north wall and you will see a cave. Inside the cave, you will find regular Zols and an Ignizol. Defeat the Ignizol to learn its Echo. Be careful because Ignizol’s light everything on fire. If Zelda gets burned, press the R button to put out the flames. Location of Hydrolzol
Hydrozols are found near water. You can find one when you go to Jabul Ruins. From Seesyde Village, swim southwest to Zora Cove. There is a cave entrance there. You will know if this is the right cave if you see a shipwreck a little way south of the cave. Go inside the cave and you will find all three types of Zols. Hydrozols grow bigger when they touch water, but they are still weak. A strong Echo can defeat them in one hit. This cave can be hard to find, so look at Zelda’s icon on the map above to see the exact location.
How to get a large Hydrozol
To make a big Hydrozol, there is one more thing you need to do. The boy wants to see the big Hydrozol, not the Hydrozol Echo. Once you collect the Hydrozol Echo, put it in the fountain of Hyrule Castle Town to grow, or use the Water Block Echo. Once it has absorbed enough water, then bring it to the boy to complete your side quest.
