Gerudo Sanctum in Zelda Echoes of Wisdom

To continue your adventure in the Gerudo Desert, you need to figure out a puzzle about two special objects. You can solve this puzzle by putting down statues of an elephant and a hawk. We’ll show you how to find these statues and complete the puzzle in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.

Go into the room on the right by pulling the handle. Use the Wind Cannon to blow away the sand in the top-right corner. You can pick up the cannon to move it around easier. There, you’ll find a clue that says, ‘It’s a blue statue with big tusks and a long nose. It’s standing still in the room.

Go into the room on the left and you’ll fight a boss. It’s really fast, so use the Swordfighter Form to catch up to it. When you’re out of energy, the Mothula Echo is good for attacking. Avoid getting up close to the boss when it has flames active, since this way you’ll end up on the receiving side.

Open the chest and take the map. It will show you where everything is. Go through the new entrance below to enter the Stilled Gerudo Sanctum. Now that we’ve explored two rooms, let’s find the special items we need.

How to find Elephant Statue

In the Stilled Gerudo Sanctum, go to the entrance on the right side. Pull the handle on the left and jump on the platforms. Use the Snake Statue Echo to cross the gap and enter the closing doorway. You’ll get to the locked door on the right later.

Use any of your special items to defeat the enemies. You’ll learn a new item called the Cat Statue Echo. Now use your Bind ability to move it, blocking the doorway.

Keep going until you find the Elephant Statue. You’ll have to fight another evil Link, just like you did in the Mysterious Rifts quest. Don’t use the Swordfighter form; he’ll be able to defend against it. He’s really fast, so use special items that are also fast to knock him down. The Peahat is the best choice, especially when more evil Links appear in the second part of the fight.

Take the new weapon you got after defeating the evil Link and climb the ladder. Use the Bow of Might to shoot any things blocking your way, and go to the next room. You’ll enter a place with a lot of fire. Put something like a pot or a big rock in front of the fire to block it.

You’ll learn a new special item called the Elephant Statue Echo after completing this part. This is one of the special items you need for the puzzle in the Gerudo Sanctum. Also, open the chest on the left to get a key. You can use this key on the locked door you saw earlier. Go back to the Stilled Gerudo Sanctum to return to the locked door and get some extra rewards.

How to find Hawk Statue

Go back to the place where you found the Elephant Statue. Jump onto the path on the right side to get closer to the Hawk Statue. Climb up using the bushes, trampolines, and wooden boxes.

Use the Peahat or the Bow of Might to defeat the enemies in front of you. Use the Bind ability to turn the ladder so you can climb up to the Hawk Statue.

What to do after getting the statue

To open the black stone Tribute door, you’ll need to activate the statues of an elephant and a hawk located on the platforms in front of it. Once you do this, the door will open, revealing another plug inside. This plug is similar to the one you found in the Cryptic Cavern, which led you to the Gerudo Sanctum.
