The game “The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom” has been unexpectedly good, similar to a 2D version of “Breath of the Wild.” One thing they have in common is the detailed cooking system. In this system, there’s a special ingredient that’s hard to find: the Golden Egg. While the Eggs are rare, and for good reason, there are a few places a particularly resourceful princess can find them if she knows where to look. Never again will you run out of Golden Smoothies.

How to get Golden Eggs

Golden Eggs are hard to find, as you might expect from something so valuable. However, if you’re willing to search, you can find them in treasure chests scattered throughout the world or by completing a side quest called “One Soldier Too Many.” To start this quest, talk to the right gate guard in Hyrule Castle Town. They’ll ask you to find a fake guard among the castle guards.

After playing a quick game looking for someone who isn’t taking care of their equipment, General Wright will give you a shiny Golden Egg. This is the only way to get one for sure right now, but if you don’t want to try your luck with treasure chests, you can get more eggs by asking for help from a special toy called an “amiibo.”

The Ganon amiibo can sometimes give Zelda new clothes, which is what they’re mostly for. But they can also give you a bunch of ingredients, including the rare Golden Egg. You can only use three amiibo each day though.

Once you’ve mastered all the Smoothie and Potion recipes, you’ll be rewarded with 10 Golden Eggs.

Sell the Golden Egg

You can sell Golden Eggs to merchants in shops for 150 rupees each. If you have too many and don’t need them for smoothies, selling them can be a good way to earn some extra money.

Since you can’t buy Golden Eggs, it’s a good idea to keep a few on hand until you’ve made all the smoothies that use them. That way, you won’t run out and miss out on these powerful drinks.

Eat it

You can eat a Golden Egg to heal 2 hearts, but it’s much better to use it in a smoothie. There are other ways to heal, like making a Bed Echo and sleeping in it, so try those instead.
