To unlock pets, you can either pre-order the Vessel of Hatred DLC or complete the Faithful Companion quest. You can find the quest when you travel to Kyovashad. The quest will be marked on the map for you, so you don’t have to look hard for it. Head over to the location near the blacksmith hut to find the Well Behaved Dog. To complete the quest, all you have to do is interact with the dog by getting close to it and pet it. Once done, the dog will join you. You can now equip the pet to use it
To equip the pet, head into any Wardrobe and you will find an option called Pets. Select the pet you wish to follow you around. When in use, the pet will gather all supplies dropped from enemies. But you should not be on horseback for this, as the pet will not collect items if you are on horseback. If you have purchased the Vessel of Hatred DLC, then you can claim different pets depending on which version of the DLC you have. Below are all the pets and how you can get them
- Ultimate Edition: All three pets (Hratli the Canine, Alkor the Snow Leopard, and Natalya the Tiger)
- Deluxe Edition: Hratli the Canine and Alkor the Snow Leopard
- Standard Edition: Alkor
