During the Traces Continue mission, you have to locate a lost journal in Vesper, particularly around some fragments in the Ruins. You have to make your way to the Vesper region to unlock the journal for this quest. If you haven’t unlocked the Vesper yet, just complete all the main story quests around the Lumber Yard. One of the first places you can head over to after unlocking Vesper is The Ruins. From the central section of The Ruins, make your way a bit southeast just before the cliff edge

You will find a ruined structure here, just behind the marker for the Void Fragment Void mission. The structure will resemble a viaduct, and you need to scale this structure and reach the top. Use your grapple gun and make your way up there. Explore the edges of the structure and you will spot the Journal. Pick it up and you can listen to it from your Journal tab in the main menu
