Before hopping into the fight, you need to note down the Devourer’s weaknesses. The Devourer is weak to electric damage, so equip your weapons with anything that deals additional electric damage. Also, it is weak to crush damage, so have that on your weapon too. As far as weapons are concerned, you don’t require any heavy duty weapon to tear down the boss. An assault and scout rifle are enough to deal with it
The Devourer will deal poison or toxic attacks, so you should have some resistance to deal with his attacks. This is a level 35 boss, so you should come prepared for the fight. The best Descendant to use here is Bunny, as her speed and agility will work wonders in the battlefield. Bring a grapple gun with you to latch on to the boss or objects to avoid its attacks
How to Beat Devourer
This battle is strictly multiplayer, so you have to work in a team to tackle the boss. Instead of hitting the boss straight on, deal a bit of damage to its Sensor, Balancer, or Core Cap. Eventually, the Devourer will release three Pylons that will regenerate its health. Your goal here is to tear down these Pylons before it is done regenerating the health bar. You and your team should quickly figure out the location of the three Pylons and break it with any heavy duty weapon. It is best that everyone works individually here, as the Devourer will release an AoE attack near the Pylons.
These attacks will target any player near the Pylons, so if there are more than one player near the Pylon, then the number of attacks will increase. This is where using Bunny can be beneficial, as her speed can help track down any Pylon that is still standing. Once the Pylons are down, hit the Devourer in its weak spots still its health goes down and it releases another set of Pylons. Repeat this step a few times to bring down the Devourer’s health drastically and ultimately kill him
