Like most scavenging and building games, you need to find various materials to help you build your ideal base. You would also require various structures and workbenches to help you in crafting tools and items. One of the crafting materials you will require during early game is Copper Wire, which you can get after you gather enough Copper. In this guide we will see how to get copper in Lightyear Frontier

To gather copper, you need to unlock the third area on the map, Edge Cliffs. In case you haven’t found Edge Cliffs yet, just venture southeast till you end up in a new area with new missions. You first need to clear the area from debris and restore it before you can find anything. There are some Noxious weeds and sludge that you need to get rid of. Also, you have to feed the animals by giving them Nice Fodder from the Doffer Oven. You can find two animal nests on the cliffs and one inside a cave near the base of the cliff. Once you have restored Edge Cliffs and fed the animals, you will find the path leading up to the cliff will appear. At the side of this path are several copper nodes. Use your upgraded Spike Saw to mine copper from these nodes

To craft Copper Wire, use the Assembler at your base. You will need 2x copper ore to craft 1x copper wire. Occasionally you might also get a free Copper Wire by using the Assembler for crafting.
