To get the legendary Heat Resistant Refined Metal Armor schematic, you need to find and defeat Alpha Astegon. This Pal can be spotted at the Destroyed Mineshaft within the Obsidian Mountain. The exact coordinates to find the Mineshaft is -629, -422. Alpha Astegon is a level 48 boss Pal, so you can only fight it during late gameplay. This is a Dark and Dragon type Pal, so bring Ice and Dragon Pals with you for the fight. You should have unlocked some heavy duty weapon like the assault rifle by now, so you can use that for the fight. If you wish to capture it, bring Ultra and Legendary Spheres with you.
Whether you choose to capture it or defeat it, you would have the Heat Resistant Refined Metal Armor schematic unlocked. If you don’t get it the first time, Alpha Pals always respawn after 1 real time hour. You can continue to fight the Alpha Astegon till you get the schematic. Once you get it, take it to the Production Assembly Line to craft it. This item is available for crafting once you are level 40 and above. You will require the following materials for crafting it.
