Jormuntides are aquatic beings as they are found in large water bodies. What makes them unique is that they are also considered mounts, so you can ride them while trying to cross the water. As for work suitability, if you manage to capture one, you can set them to do Watering Level 4 jobs. They can help irrigate your farms and supply a steady source of water to your base.

Jormuntide Location

For now, you can find the Alpha Jormuntide boss when you travel north from the Sealed Realm of the Thunder Dragon fast travel point. There is a large lake you will encounter that is home to the Alpha Jormuntide. You can also get here from the Investigator’s Fork fast travel point, as it is closest to the lake. Once you reach, make your way to the center of the lake to find the Alpha Jormuntide.

How to Beat Jormuntide

There are other aquatic creatures on the lake you can battle as well, and you can farm Pal Fluid this way. To beat the Alpha Jormuntide, you should bring Ice and Electric Pals with you. This is a level 45 Pal, so you need to prepare yourself with some weapons and high level Pals to tackle it. An assault rifle is best to maintain range while beating it down. How to Capture Jormuntide

Since Jormuntide is encountered as an Alpha, you should bring some heavy duty spheres with you. You should first weaken the Jormuntide with a combination of weapons and Pals, then only stick to your guns when its health is less than half. After that, toss either the Giga, Mega, Hyper, or Ultra Spheres to capture the Jormuntide. You can check the success rate of capturing it using any of the spheres mentioned before using it.
