One of the legendary Alpha Pals you will encounter quite early in the game is Jetragon. This Pal is a Legendary Celestial Dragon that has the Paldeck entry of No. 111. Its main element is Dragon, and it can be used as a mount. Since this is a Flying and Riding Pal, you can utilize Jetragon’s passives to soar the skies and travel from one terrain to another.
Jetragon Location in Palworld
Jetragons are commonly encountered near the Beach of Everlasting Summer waypoint. From this waypoint, head north towards coordinates -789, -321. This is the volcanic region called Obsidian Mountain, which is found on the western section of the map. This area is extremely hot, so you would need heat resistant armor to get by
How to Catch Jetragon
Jetragon is a level 50 Alpha Pal. Its Dragon type attacks is weak against Ice type Pals. You can gather some good Ice Pals and add them to your party. Frostallion, Chillet and Ice Reptyro can be obtained early in the game and can deal plenty of damage to Jetragon. When it comes to weapons, Assault Rifles are good enough to beat the Jetragon, but if that doesn’t cause a dent in its health then you would have to go for Rocket Launchers. Any high level ranged gun can deal damage at a distance.
As for capturing the Jetragon, anything below Ultra Sphere cannot handle it. It is best to bring a couple of Ultra and Legendary Spheres with you while you hunt down Jetragon. When defeated, Jetragon can drop any of the following
- Carbon Fiber
- Diamond
- Polymer
- Pure Quartz
Jetragon Skills and Passives
Jetragon’s passive skill is Aerial Missile, which launches a homing missile at the target if their owner mounts it. But you need to unlock Jetragon’s Missile Launcher from the Technology menu first and craft the item for Jetragon to use. They can also lend additional elemental power to their handler when fighting alongside them. Beside that, Jetragon also offers the following skills
