Warzone 2 DMZ is a renowned and player-favorite mode that has created a separate fan base since its release. From finding tons of different items to completing numerous quests, this mode offers players almost everything to enjoy the vibe of Warzone. However, in June 2023, with the Season 4 update, DMZ introduced Disguise. One of the most unique and exclusive items in the game. But if you have recently failed to find the Disguise in Warzone 2 DMZ, this guide will explain the reason.
Is Disguise Disappeared in DMZ?
Well, this can be a valid question, especially if you play solo and are used to completing quests using Disguise. Unfortunately, the Disguise has been withdrawn temporarily as stated by the COD team in their Twitter handle. A few hours back, on January 9, they announced that they had removed Disguise from the loot pool for some investigations. However, what they are investigating is not revealed.
According to the source, this removal is temporary, but when the Disguise will return is not sure. Maybe the next update will add it again. Disguise used to be found as random loot and players can use it to roam around the map without being spotted. But as soon as they fire, the disguise will break and they become visible. Though, Disguise can’t block all the enemies, even break if you get enough hits, still was working mostly well. Players never severely complain about disguises not working or having glitches. So, what the developers are trying to fix is unknown.
Since the news is out, players have divided into two teams, expressing missed reactions. While some players are sad about the removal of the unique item, others react positively to the removal saying it didn’t work properly, so it’s better to remove it. The comment section shows mostly the frustration of players regarding the DMZ mode and their demand for adding new content to make it alive again. Primarily they demand a new map to explore.
