There are several challenges you need to clear while playing Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince. Besides leveling up and synthesizing your monsters, you would also have to participate in battles. After clearing the Endor Colosseum battles, you will gain access to Nadira, where you can participate in the Maulosseum challenges in The Lower Echelon of the Circle of Conquest. The first category you can participate in is Category G, and the monsters here are unruly. In this guide we will see how to clear Maulosseum Category G in Dragon Quest Monsters The Dark Prince.

The monster lineup in Maulosseum G has some hard hitters, but you should also have an array of tough monsters by exploring the new area. Below are all the monsters that will appear in the three Maulosseum G rounds.
- Round 1 – Dead Resident, Powie Yowie, Snail Slime, Snowmangler
- Round 2 – Guaardvark, Skeleton, Skullrider, Stark Raven
- Round 3 – Eggsoskeleton, Flying Saucers, Lampling, Pocus Puppet
This time you won’t have to face any large monsters, but the monsters above are ruthless in terms of power and strength, plus they have high HP too. You should know your lineup and level up your monsters before you can enter the Maulosseum. It is recommended to reach level 10 and above before attempting Maulosseum G.
Best lineup to beat Maulosseum Category G
Like Endor Colosseum Category F, you need monsters that can create AoE attacks. Lunatick’s Cool Breath, Vegandragora’s Sizz, and Dragonthorn’s Woosh can help here. Set them to Show No Mercy to tackle all the monsters. Next, we need to focus on healers. You can stick to Slimes, Stump Chumps, and Capsichums, or go for the newer monsters like Bubble Slime and Leery Lout. Leery Lout is also great for its high defense, so it can be difficult to attack it. Bubble Slimes can heal and also deal poison attacks.
Again, you can add Bunicorn, Platypunk, and Antguzzler for their debuffs, as adding debuffs to the enemies is highly crucial here. Set them to Weaken the Enemy and let the hard hitters deal the damage. If you wish to skip out on debuff monsters and just stick to pure attacks, then you can set them all to Show No Mercy.
