How to Get the Airport Deed in Dinkum
You need to collect the Airport Deed from Fletch after reaching Year 2. In case you don’t get the option to purchase the Airport Deed from her, then there could be several possible reasons. First, you need to check whether you have the latest Dinkum version and download the Summer Sun update. The next reason could be that you don’t have all NPCs moved into your town. There are 17 NPCs who will be permanent residents in your Town, and you need all of them to unlock the Airport Deed.
The other possible reason could be that there is still a lot of town debt left over. If you check the donation box in the Town Hall, it will show you how much debt you need to pay. Pay off whatever is left then talk to Fletch again. If she still doesn’t have anything new to say, then restart your game and delete any mods you have. Mods can hamper your game and make the Airport Deed unattainable.
If you have followed all the steps above, Fletch will tell you about the new islands, and you can collect the Airport Deed from her. Purchasing the Airport Deed will put the town 2,500,000 in debt.
How to Build the Airport in Dinkum
Next, you need to find a suitable place to use the Airport Deed. Find an empty plot of land and hover the construction over it. If allowed, you can place the structure to start building. You also need to gather materials to build the Airport. You would need the following items.
- 25x Gum Wood Planks
- 25x Palm Wood Planks
- 15x Bags of Cement
- 10x Iron Bars
- 10x Copper Bars
- 10x Quartz
- 5x Cloth
After collecting all the items, place it inside the box on the construction site. It will take 2 days for the Airport’s construction to be completed, so you can pass the time by sleeping or completing some other tasks. After 2 days, check back in and you can now use the Airport to make a quick getaway.
