During the start of the game, the only way you can get from one place to another is by purchasing and using Portal Scrolls. Portal Scrolls are a cheap and effective way of getting from your location to a previously visited location and back. You can usually purchase Portal Scrolls when you visit towns, or even get them from enemy drops. The only drawback to portal scrolls is that it is not permanent, and the distance you can teleport to is measured by your intelligence.
Another way you can permanently fast travel is via Alluring Pools. You can purchase the Alluring Pools item from the Lore Store for a certain amount of money. Once you have it, you can find these pools across the various regions. The only way you can use it is by first locating both pools and traveling from one unlocked Alluring Pool to another unlocked Alluring Pool. You can find and unlock more pools the more you explore the region. Once you use one end of the pool, that entrance will stay locked for one turn.
