Right after the starting cutscene, you will be in possession of the hijacker’s gun. This happens only if you have pressed the prompt to get his gun right after the cutscene ended. Once you do have the gun, you get a few chances to shoot at all incoming enemies without hurting the civilians. In the odd chance where you are unsure of what to do, you can just stand down and watch the rest of the scene unfold. Whether you manage to hit a couple of them or you don’t, it doesn’t matter as you will get stunned by a flashbang and be captured.
In case you aren’t quick enough to hit the prompt, the hijackers and the Air Marshals on board will be in a bit of a tussle until ultimately you still get stunned and taken captive. There isn’t much else that can be done here besides watching the rest of the scene play out. So whichever path you pick, you will still be held hostage and have the bomb strapped on you.
