The newest cave to be added to patch 12 in Sons of the Forest is Cave F. Inside, you can get your hands on a rare blueprint and a pickaxe. To get Solafite Ore, you need to explore this particular cave. The first instance of getting Solafite Ore is while getting the pickaxe. The pickaxe is lodged within the Solafite mineral, and after getting the pickaxe out you can mine the resource directly. You might also encounter it in other parts of the cave, and they are identifiable by their gray color and having several ridges. They look different from the rest of the cave surroundings, so keep an eye out for them during your exploration.
As mentioned above, you need Solafite Ore for upgrading weapons. Once you have built the Enchantment Table, you can put in Solafite Ore and a weapon of your choice. This will upgrade the weapon, making it stronger and better than its regular counterpart.
