Johnny Silverhand owned a Malorian Arms 3516 pistol, and you can get this weapon by completing a particular side quest. The job Chippin’ In will lead you to the pistol after completing it. For this job, you need to defeat the Maelstrom gangsters and their leader, Grayson. If you don’t have this side job available, then you need to progress through the main story till you get it. After Grayson’s death, inspect his body to find the pistol. You can now equip it on V and use it when you want.
