After listening to the Minstrel and watching him disappear, start pushing all the heaps of leaves towards the pile of wood. You can quickly do this using the power of the Mistral Bracelet. All the heaps should be on and around the wood pile. Now, you can change the time of day using the Solstice Amulet and turn it to night. There will be an eerie glow around the campfire, and you will meet a monster.
The Leaf Monster will not take any damage initially, so the only way you can beat it is to wait for an opening. There is a special move that the Leaf Monster will use called Leaf Throw. While doing this particular move, the monster will shed and toss its leafy coat towards your party. This is the optimal time to use your best moves, since the monster is bare of armor. Quickly attack it and bring it down to continue with the rest of the quest.
