Fontaine in Genshin Impact 4.0 has finally introduced, perhaps the gaming industry’s best underwater exploration feature. Naturally, players love exploring the waters of Fontaine as they are literally drowning in content. There’s so much to discover in the underwater world of Fontaine- and it comes filled with interesting quests, loads of treasure and engaging challenges.
One such treasure is a Luxurious Chest blatantly locked in the middle of nowhere, just off the western coast of Marcotte Station. This isn’t one of those long world questlines but it is a series of challenges that players have to overcome to unlock said treasure and more in the process. There’s also a hidden achievement that you obtain after completing this series of challenges. In this guide, we’ll go step by step into solving this series of puzzles.
Do You Believe in Rapture Hidden Achievement in Genshin Impact 4.0 Fontaine
Do You Believe in Rapture is the name of the hidden achievement you obtain after completing this series of challenges. You begin this by waking up a Xenochromatic Blubberbeast by obtaining its ability and beginning the Time Trial Challenge near it. The location of the challenge is given below.
The First Trial
Go to the quest marker from the Marcotte Station waypoint. The first challenge is about using the Xenochromatic Blubberbeast’s sonar ability to light up all of the invisible resonance points. You can make a rough sketch of the initial image if you’re having difficulty locating or remembering it. Next, hold your skill button to continuously release the sonar waves and light up as many resonance points as possible.
You’ll get a chest after completing this challenge and a water stream will guide you to your next location which is towards the treasure chest marker in the map above. You’ll notice that the Luxurious Chest is locked in a bubble with 2 more prominent streams of Hydro connected to it. You’ll need to go to each of these locations and solve their respective puzzle or challenge.
The Second Trial
The second challenge in this series is one where you use the sonar waves to detect treasure and valuables nearby. There are plenty of hidden objects near that location so you’ll need to find all of them to complete this challenge. By far this is the most time-consuming of all the 3 challenges. After each challenge, the respective Blubberbeast at these locations will all go and rest near the Bubble in the centre sealing the Luxurious Chest.
The Third Trial
The third challenge is one where you have to pop a series of Pufferfruits within 3 attacks. This is a trick challenge as it doesn’t mean you only have to use 3 hits of the sonar but just that you can use the Blubberbeast’s skill 3 times. The trick is to position yourself in the centre, hold the Skill button and point it at the revolving Pufferfruits. As you continuously shoot out sonar waves, you’ll destroy multiple Pufferfruits with each use of the skill. You can comfortably destroy all of them with 3 uses of the skill by holding it as long as possible each time.
Once all 3 Blubberbeasts reach the dome in the centre, the Luxurious Chest will unlock and you will obtain the Do You Believe in Rapture hidden achievement. This series of trials mainly tests your ability to properly and efficiently use the Blubberbeast’s sonar skill in situations other than combat.
