The Bell is an infamous 4-star claymore in Genshin Impact for being the most useless weapon in the game, especially among 4-stars and 5-stars. Genshin Impact has had this weapon almost since the beginning and at this point, it’s almost become a meme as to how useless it is.
Why The Bell is Useless in Genshin Impact
The Bell is a 4-star claymore weapon with HP% as its main stat. Currently, there’s no claymore character in Genshin Impact who scales off of HP%. If we’re still pushing it then Beidou is the only character who barely benefits from this weapon which increases the tanking ability of her E skill’s shield which triggers on a counter. The skill relies on the max HP of Beidou for those few seconds of damage absorption which Beidou then counters.
The Bell’s passive also scales off a character’s max HP and it gives them a 10-second shield every 45 seconds whose DMG absorption relies on the max HP of its user. Those within the shield of the Bell also have their damage increased to an extent which is at least a saving grace. Since even Beidou mainly relies on Atk% and Crit bonuses, this passive is wasted on her. Both these qualities make Bell unworthy of any claymore character in the current game.
How Dori Can Use The Bell
Dori is an upcoming 4-star electro character from Sumeru who can finally perhaps use the Bell weapon. She’s a chibi claymore user who acts as a healer and support and she supposedly scales off of HP. With a high enough HP for her healing function and her weapon type being that of claymore, the Bell might finally come in handy for her considering how it increases her survivability with its shielding passive for every 10s every 45s.
Of course, there’s always a chance Genshin will soon release similar weapons with more thought-out stats and passives so players are advised not to build the Bell just yet. We’ll only know the truth of this theory once Dori releases in the second half of Version 3.0 and lets the players test her out.
