The Leap Over Peril quest in Where Winds Meet involves the usage and construction of a horizontal zipline at a mountain outpost. This guide will detail what location to travel to, how to set up the zipline, how to get to the other side of the zipline, and how to finish the escort objective.
Reach the Mountain Outpost
To start the Leap of Pearl quest, move towards the Northwest mountain and enter the outpost. Once you are inside, go up to the area indicated in the quest marker. This will lead you to the place where you will begin the construction of the zipline by interacting with Bi Da.
Build the Horizontal Zipline
To enter the building mode at the site, ensure you press F4 and B before selecting Personal from the menu. Once you do, select the Passage option, then the Horizontal Zipline option by double-clicking it to place it.
Ensure that you align the zipline with the location as accurately as possible. It may take a few attempts to get this, so ensure that you have placed it as close as possible to the exact location.
After constructing the zipline, exit the build mode and walk to the end of the zipline manually. You may have to wait for your stamina before continuing.
Use the Zipline
You can press the F4 key once you arrive at the destination. Afterward, use the zipline to go back to the point where you started and inform Bi Da that the construction is complete.
Now that you are back, you must escort Bi Da to the destination. You only need to follow it until it reaches the final spot, where you can complete the Leap of Pearl quest.
