In Brighter Shores, selling your gear isn’t as simple as visiting any vendor. Instead, the game requires you to sell specific items at designated locations. This system may change as you progress or with future updates, but for now, you’ll need to visit certain NPCs to offload your loot. Early on, as you level up the Guard Profession by fighting enemies in Hopeport, you’ll accumulate plenty of weapons and armor. Here’s a quick guide on where to sell your equipment in Brighter Shores.
Sell Equipment In Brighter Shores
In Brighter Shores, you can only sell items at specific vendors. Thus there are limited places where you can sell your items. Right now, you have to visit certain vendors to offload your gear, though this might change as you progress through the game or in future updates.
Early on, in Hopeport, you’ll start gathering a lot of weapons and armor as you level up the Guard Profession by defeating enemies. After you engage in combat to level up your Guard skill, you’ll earn experience and may also get a piece of equipment as a drop. Sometimes the gear you get will be an upgrade, but more often than not, it’s just an average item that you don’t really need.
To sell your equipment, head back to the Quartermaster, located next to the Infirmary and Training Grounds at the end of Stone Street. Once there, talk to the Quartermaster to sell your items. You can offload any combat gear here. Just be careful, if you choose the “Sell All” option, it will sell all the unequipped items he can buy, so make sure you’re not getting rid of anything you want to keep.
On the other hand, if you’re looking to sell Alchemy-related items, you’ll need to head over to the Apothecary on Stone Street. Each vendor only buys specific types of items, so you’ll have to sell your gear to the right person. It helps prevent players from accidentally selling something they didn’t intend to.
